Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Envelope service operated by EpochCore LLC ("EpochCore", "we"). By using the service you agree to these Terms.
1. Service
Envelope is a cryptographic sealing service. For each agent decision you submit, the API returns a hybrid Ed25519 + ML-DSA-65 signed envelope and an anchor in a public verifier chain. The verifier endpoint is operated independently and is open to any third party at no cost.
2. Plans, billing, and cancellation
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance. Personal: $29/mo. Pro: $299/mo. Enterprise: pursuant to a separate order form.
- Payment is processed by Stripe. Your card details are handled by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
- You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; the period in which you cancel is prorated only where required by applicable law.
- Volume overages above the included monthly seal allotment may be billed at a per-seal rate disclosed at the time you exceed the allotment.
3. Your data
You retain all rights to the agent decisions you submit. EpochCore does not claim ownership of customer content. Envelope artifacts (hashes, signatures, chain anchors) are by design publicly verifiable; the underlying decision payload is not stored in plaintext on our infrastructure unless you explicitly enable payload retention.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to (a) seal content that is unlawful in your jurisdiction, (b) attempt to subvert the verifier chain, (c) probe our infrastructure beyond the API surface, or (d) resell the service without a written reseller agreement.
5. Compliance posture
Envelope is designed to support evidentiary requirements under SEC Rule 17a-4(f), FINRA Rule 4370, SOC 2 CC7, and similar regimes. EpochCore does not represent that the service itself holds any certification on your behalf; an attestation mapping is available on request.
6. Warranty and liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, EpochCore disclaims implied warranties. EpochCore's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the fees paid by you in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms (including acceptable use) with notice where practicable. On termination, you remain entitled to verify previously issued envelopes through the public verifier.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless EpochCore LLC, its officers, employees, and agents from and against any third-party claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to (a) your use of the service in violation of these Terms or applicable law, (b) content you submit to the service, or (c) your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property or privacy rights. EpochCore will indemnify you against third-party claims alleging that the unmodified service, as provided by EpochCore and used in accordance with these Terms, directly infringes a U.S. patent, copyright, or trademark, capped at the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Dispute resolution
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, seated in Wilmington, Delaware. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. Class actions and class arbitrations are waived to the maximum extent permitted by law. Either party may bring an individual action in small-claims court for disputes within that court's jurisdiction. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property.
10. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for any failure or delay in performance to the extent caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, pandemic, governmental action, fire, flood, earthquake, labor disputes, or failures of internet backbones, electrical grids, or third-party cloud providers (including those of our sub-processors). The affected party will use commercially reasonable efforts to resume performance.
11. Export controls and sanctions
You represent that you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any country or party subject to United States sanctions (including OFAC SDN List jurisdictions). You agree to comply with U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and equivalent export-control regimes in your jurisdiction, including not exporting or re-exporting the service to embargoed destinations or restricted parties.
12. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to the arbitration clause above, venue for any permissible court action lies in the state or federal courts of Delaware. Where mandatory consumer-protection law in your jurisdiction grants you non-waivable rights, those rights continue to apply.
13. Survival
Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including Your data, Acceptable use restrictions, Warranty and liability, Indemnification, Dispute resolution, Export controls, Governing law, and this Survival section — survive termination or expiration of these Terms.
14. Entire agreement and severability
These Terms, together with any order form, the Privacy Policy, the DPA, and the SLA (where applicable), constitute the entire agreement between you and EpochCore concerning the service and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder will continue in full force, and the unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via the email on file and reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
